The intermission problem

Theatre fans are missing shows to the algorithm.

75.3%

of fans have missed a show because social media algorithms never showed it to them.

76.2%

of fans are frustrated with how algorithms handle event content.

Nearly all

struggle to find basic show and casting information because it's scattered across too many places.

Our story

Built by someone who's been backstage.

“Australia supports its sports with world-class infrastructure and central information hubs, and our thriving arts industry deserves that exact same respect and visibility.”

Rachel Gillett · Founder & Developer, Curtain Call AU

Curtain Call AU was founded by Rachel Gillett, an IT technician with 16 years of tech experience and a rich background in music management. She has worked alongside Australian artists including Lior, Thirsty Merc, Evermore, Matt Corby, Gotye, John Butler Trio and Missy Higgins, and drove two of Australian internet history's biggest viral sensations: Trent From Punchy and Beached Az.

Curtain Call exists to fix the discoverability crisis caused by algorithmic gatekeeping — connecting agents and talent directly with dedicated fans.
